National Saltwater Angler Registry

The Angler Registry team will create a national phonebook of anglers to ensure that saltwater anglers are accurately accounted for. An angler registry moves us down the road to better recreational fishing data in two ways – first by creating a universe of saltwater anglers, and second by using that phone directory to reduce bias and improve the efficiency of catch and effort surveys.
